Welcome to RUF at The University of Virginia
RUF Large Group on Tuesdays at 8-9.15 pm in Wilson 301
We are a Christian ministry on grounds seeking to foster a love for
God and love for our neighbors. We attempt this by providing
opportunities to learn what the Bible teaches and put it into practice
in our everyday lives. In RUF, we emphasize the sufficiency of
Christ for salvation and the sufficiency of His Word for knowing Him.
This means that we value the importance of both doctrine and life. The
gospel must be understood if it’s to be lived, and it must be lived in
order to be truly understood.
Regardless of your beliefs or doubts, RUF is a place for you to explore Christianity and grow in your understanding of who Jesus is and what it means to follow him in community with others at the University of Virginia.
Meeting Times
RUF Large Group meets Tuesday Nights from 8-9:15 pm in Wilson 301. At the University we spend most of our time asking questions. Questions about life, work, vocation, knowledge, even God. We believe that those questions are very important. But sometimes we use questions to avoid formulating our own opinions and beliefs. This semester we will be looking at
"The Questions God asks Us" so that we can allow His questions to interrogate us.
